OUR STORY
JOCO Lawn was born from a simple idea and a lot of hard work. In 2020, at just 17 years old, Griffin and Nolan decided to turn their passion for outdoor work into something more—a real business serving the Johnson county metro area.
What started as two young entrepreneurs mowing lawns with basic equipment has grown into a trusted, owner-operated landscape company known for reliability, attention to detail, and genuine care for every property we touch.
Now 23 years old, Griffin and Nolan still lead the team personally, ensuring the same hands-on approach and high standards that built our reputation from day one.

Lawn Mowing

Weekly Mowing (recommended): Precision mowing , edging, string trimming, blowing, and mulched or removed clippings. Promotes thicker turf, better weed/drought resistance, and a consistently sharp look.

Bi-Weekly Mowing: Every-other-week service for slower-growing lawns or budget-conscious clients. Still includes full edging, trimming, and blowing.
Lawn Health Applications
Our 6-Step Program delivers timed granular fertilizer, pre- and post-emergent weed control, and spot treatments throughout the season. Tailored to cool-season grasses (Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue), it builds deep roots, vibrant color, and drought resistance while controlling crabgrass, dandelions, and other weeds.
Aeration and Overseeding
Aeration & overseeding revives your lawn by relieving soil compaction and thickening turf. We core aerate to improve air, water, and nutrient flow to roots, then overseed with premium cool-season blends (bluegrass, tall fescue, ryegrass) to fill thin spots and crowd out weeds. Ideal in early fall for best results, this service promotes denser, greener, more resilient grass.
Landscape Design and Installation
JOCO Lawn and Landscape offers professional landscape design and installation to create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces for your property. From custom planting beds and seasonal color to tree/shrub placement, mulch or Colorado River Rock install and upgrades, and low-maintenance native options, we handle everything.
Property Cleanups
We provide thorough spring and fall clean-ups to keep your property neat and ready for each season. Spring clean-up removes winter debris, leaves, twigs, and thatch, followed by power blowing, edging, and the first mow of the year. Fall clean-up includes complete leaf removal, off-site disposal, final mowing, edging, and full property blow-off. These one-time services prevent pest issues, protect turf health, and restore a polished look.
Snow & Ice
Snow in the midwest is no joke, that's why we offer reliable snow and ice removal for your property. We plow driveways, sidewalks, and entryways, then apply de-icing treatments to melt ice and prevent slips. On-call or scheduled service available, with priority for HOA and residential clients.
